Our CO2 report
Transparency is the foundation of responsible business practices for us. With our CO₂ emissions report, we disclose how many greenhouse gases our company generates, where the largest emission sources lie, and what measures we are taking to reduce our environmental footprint.
The report adheres to internationally recognized standards such as the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and considers emissions along the entire value chain (Scope 01, 02, and 03). This provides us with a reliable data foundation – for ourselves, for our partners, and for the public.
Our goal is clear: to systematically reduce emissions, use energy more efficiently, and act in accordance with the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement in the long term. This report documents our current status, shows developments over time, and defines concrete reduction targets for the coming years.
We see this report not as a conclusion, but as part of a continuous improvement process – transparent, measurable, and responsible.

In total, the company VegaSystems generated CO2 emissions of 9,274.72 kg CO2e in 2024. Of this, 88% was attributable to employee commuting between the company location and their place of residence.
Compensation for generated emissions
As a responsible company, we actively take responsibility for our environmental footprint. We consistently offset unavoidable CO₂ emissions generated by our business activities through projects certified according to the stringent criteria of the Gold Standard.
The Gold Standard represents the highest quality and transparency standards for climate protection projects worldwide. In addition to demonstrably reducing greenhouse gases, the supported projects simultaneously promote sustainable development, improve local living conditions, and make a measurable contribution to the global sustainability goals.
By offsetting our emissions, we invest specifically in renewable energies, energy efficiency, clean drinking water, and reforestation projects – always with the aim of combining environmental impact with social responsibility. In this way, we actively shape our path to a climate-conscious future and set a clear example for sustainable business practices.
